Dress Code

We expect the students come appropriately dressed to learn.  Students should not wear pajama pants nor sweat pants.  Students should dress modestly, thighs and shoulders should be covered.   In high school, students should approach the day as if it were an age-appropriate job interview, completely  and appropriately dressed, ready for achievement.

Expectations

Students should be respectful of all teachers and administration.  Students should complete their work on time and attend all classes assigned to them. The mid day gathering is attendance required if you are in the building, this is the best time to communication.   Be on your best behavior.

Each student in grades three through 12 will need a map book and book of centuries.   Each class should have regular entries, perhaps  with thru exception of math. The map  books can be purchased thru TRLT for $14 and the Book of Centuries by Simply  Charlotte Mason.  (If the student or family  is committed to another style of timeline that will be accepted as long as said time line can be brought to class for frequent checks.)

Because TRLT is a Christian organization and meeting in Christian church we use the Bible as our ultimate authority.  There are a few things to remember as we come together, TRLT exists to assist homeschoolers in educating their children.   Therefore, we do not allow use of the time during TRLT and space to be used for other agendas.

TRLT exists to walk alongside parents in their homeschool journey. TRLT does not report to the government entities education reports. Believing the family is the foundation of education set by God, the parent is ultimately responsible for the level of education, and physical safety, and standards of life. TRLT does require that each student and their parents be respectful of others and others property. Personal responsibility is a strong Biblical theme, and is expected at TRLT.

As with any organization, failure to comply with these expectations and the spirit within them, can result in removal and/or denied re-enrollment.
